Beautiful Tiger Lily

A warm hello to you today.  Today I am showcasing the beautiful Tiger Lily along with the Paisley Frame and the IOE Vintage View folder from Cheery Lynn Designs.

I started buy using a piece of sparkly gold pow paper as my base. Next I printed the happy birthday sentiment on my computer onto white cardstock. I then embossed the white cardstock using the IOE - Vintage View Embossing Folder and IOE - Square IOE Plates . I cut down the Paisley Frame  to fit between the embossed images. To the raw edge of the paisley frame I added a gold strip to finish it off.

Now for the beautiful Tiger Lily . I cut two of all the pieces of the flower in white. I  inked them with distress ink then shaped and layered them together.  The details in the flower and leaves are so nice. The centers even pop out for more dimension. I added a few black dots with a fine pint pen.  I hope I have inspired you to play with the Tiger Lily dies if you have it.

Thank You for visiting my blog today and for all the comment you leave. They are always appreciated and I enjoy hearing what you have to say. Have a crafty day my friends.

I am showcasing the IOE - Curls  Swirls Embossing Folder - IOEEF05 . I have embossed around the edge of the card with the new embossing folder and inked it up to bring out the design. I layered the Alpine Flourish Doily   to the center of the card and place the Humming Bird to the top corner.
The Victorian Romance Flourish  was added to the bottom corner to layer the flower arrangement onto. The roses were created using the Tea Rose medium  and the  Tea Rose small. Small pieces of the Fern Leaf  were tucked behind the roses.

Hippe Herione

A warm Hello to you today. I am showcasing two of the new dies from Cheery Lynn Designs last release which are  the Hippie Heroine  and the Paisley Frame . I just love the details in these two dies.

I started my card by cutting the Paisley Frame  out. To add color to it I inked it with three different colors of distress inks. It was then layered onto black to really show off the details in this frame. I cut and inked one of the Sentiment Tag 3 and layered the Happy and Birthday onto it.

Now look at the beautiful detail in this Hippie Heroine . I cut her from white cardstock and the layered brown cardstock behind the hair and fussy cut around the hair. I then added some color to the white piece with distress inks. A couple of different brown tones were added to the hair, flesh tones to the face and then some eyeshadow, blush and lipstick was applied. I created a rose from the medium- Rose to put into her hair and used the feathers from the Dream Catchers #1 . A bit of bling was added to finish off the card.

Thank You so much for visiting my blog today and for commenst you leave. I always enjoy reading your comments. Have a wonderful day my friends.

My Feathered Friend

A warm Hello to you today. Glad to see you here. Well I don't know about you but I am ready for spring. So I choose to create a spring card.

I started out with a piece of pattern paper with butterflies along one side and matted it with black cardstock.

To the left side I have a little feathered friend sitting on the window sill among the leaves, flourishes and flowers.

For more details I layered the Shuttered Window with Flower Box  onto the base . I then added one of the little birds from the Feathered Friends   set. I added some of the  Ivy Corner Flourish , Add A Flourish  and Tiny Flower Kit  to add some greenery and flowers to make the little bird happy. Everything was inked up with distress inks. I hope I have inspired you to create some spring cards. Cheery Lynn Designs has a huge selection of flowers and greenery as well as several birds.

Thank You so much for visiting the blog today and for the comments you leave. I always like to hear what you have to say. Have a crafty day my friends.
