Anything Goes

Hello to all you Cheery Lynn Fans. This weeks challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs is "Anything Goes".  I had a nice deer image I have been wanting to use and thought a manly card would be a nice
change for this challenge. I started with a green and black matting then added a pattern paper. I placed the Burlap Border and layered the image on it. A few of the Pine Branches were added to the bottom corner. The Old Barn Board was placed at the top to put the sentiment Father on. A couple of the  Hinges  were added to the barn board . Well that is it for this challenge. I invite you to join the challenge at for your chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree. I would love to see your designs. Have a crafty week.

Shaped Card

Hello all you Cheery Lynn Design followers. This weeks challenge at Cheery Lynn  Designs is "Shaped Card". This card is the shape of the doily. The black around the outer edges is just paper I put behind the card to take a photo of it. I started with the Fiona's Magic Mirror doily and then fussy cut a thin black shadowed background around it. I matted my image of the chickadee's onto some black and white chicken wire patterned paper and popped it up for another layer. I tucked two tickets in behind the image at the bottom. I place the smallest of the Horizon Fishtail Banners across the top with a sentiment stamped on it. For the flower I used the Sweet Christine. There are several layers of petals as well as the leaves that come on this die strip. I hope I have inspired you to come join the Cheery Lynn Design challenge @ for your chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree. Have a crafty week.

Tickled Pink

A warn hello to you. This is the card I created for the Cheery Lynn Designs challenge. The theme this week is "Tickled Pink". So decided to go with a valentine card. I started with a chocolate colored base. I used the Coved Rectangle-Classic LG Stackers to cut the base and give it a nice shape. I layered the largest  Dutch Daisy Boutique Stacker A2 Frame and then popped another layer up with the cute valentine pattern paper. A couple of the Hinges were placed along the edge. The smallest of the Heart to Heart Doily  was layered on the bottom corner with one of the keys from the Lock and Keys set laying across it. The sentiments Happy and Valentines were placed at the top and bottom. Some of the tiny hearts from the doily were placed on the chocolate base. I do hope you will come join the challenge at for your chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree. I wish you all a Happy Valentines Day.
