I Need Coffee

A warm Hello to you. Nice to see you here. Here is another card I am sharing that I created for Cheery Lynn Designs. With October just around the corner I thought I would have a little Halloween fun.  So I designed this Halloween card.

I started with a piece if halloween printed paper as my base and matted it in grey and black.

I love the coffee cup from the last release and I wanted to incorporate it into a Halloween card. I thought the sentiment " Hocus Pocus I need coffee to Focus" was perfect for the cup sleeve. And then there is the  bottle off sugar and scream for the coffee.

I placed the Dusty Miller Square  near the top of the card and added a button to the center of it.  I then layered the Witch Hat  and the coffee cup from the Brew Can Do It   set.  I layered flourishes from the  Fall Pumpkin Patch   set for the top corners and a bit tucked behind the hat.

Here I cut both Bottles and printed sugar on one and scream on the other one. Again I tucked in a couple more flourishes. The cat is one of three from the Friendly Felines  set.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing this card as much as I enjoyed making it to share with you. If you haven't seen the new Halloween dies that were just release then you should check them out. There are some nice ones.

Please leave a comment and have a wonderful crafty day my friends..

Merry Christmoose

A warm hello to you. It's Debbie from Debbie's Time Out hosting the blog today.

Today I an featuring the Merry Christmoose set from the new release.

I started with a woodgrain background and matted in in black and red. I used a lighter woodgrain in the center so the moose would show up better. I place the Holly Corner  at the top corner.

Here I have cut several layers of the wreath from the Joy to the World Wreath   and layered them one on top of the other to create a full wreath. I layered some of the holly leaves from the Holly Leaves  die. I cut the Tiny Bubbles Border in red and used some of the negative circles for the berries. The Merry Christmoose sentiment was cut from plaid paper to match the moose's scarf and then I coated it with glossy accents.

Now for the moose from the Merry Christmoose set. Isn't he just too cute. He looks like such a happy moose and makes me smile when I look at him. I cut his body parts from a paper that looks like animal hair. I used woodgrain paper to cut his antlers from. His scarf was cut from the same plaid as the sentiment. Depending what papers you cut this moose from you would get a lot of different looks.

Thanks for dropping by the blog today. Please take a minute and leave a comment or tell me what you think of this new die set. I think it would be great for Christmas cards, mens birthday cards, little boy cards or maybe even a baby card done in the right colors.
Have a wonderful crafty day my friends.

Coffee Friends

A warm hello to you. It's Debbie from Debbie's Time Out with you today.

Today I am featuring another die set from the new release called Brew Can Do It .

I have used my favorite color aqua for my background and matted it with beige and then a wider matt in a beautiful flowered paper.

I layered  the  Swedish Spring Oval Frame  in the center of the card. I printed this sentiment from my computer and the place the  Pierced Stacker  die over it and cut it out. I tucked one cup behind the stacker and the other one on top of the stacker.

Here is a closer look at the cup. I just can't get over how realistic looking it is. I cut the cup sleeve from some corrugated paper which really looks cool.

Thanks for checking out the blog. I hope I have inspired you to make a few cards.
Have a wonderful crafty day my friends.
