Valentine Treat Bag

Hi there. With Valentines Day just around the corner I thought I would share a treat bag I created featuring the new Pop Up Hearts.

I started by cutting the Pop Up Hearts and then stapling it to a clear zip-loc bag. I layered some fancy hearts from the Heart to Heart Doily and the Two Of Hearts  behind the Pop-Up Hearts. I layered the Be Mine Teddy Bear  on top of the Pop-Up Hearts. I placed some of the Sweetheart Candy onto the bag. Most of these dies were inked up with distress inks for color.  I slipped a piece of printed paper inside the bag for more decoration. This is the perfect treat bag for putting a few valentine chocolates in. This new Pop-Up Hearts dies will make a beautiful card too or maybe even use it for a tag topper.

Thanks for visiting my blog today and for the comments you leave. I hope you take the time to create some valentines cards. I will be posting a cute man's valentine card on my next post so keep watching for it.

Pop Up Best Wishes

Glad to see you here for the "3-D Pop Up" blog hop.  If you just came from visiting Bonnie @ "Make Time To Craft"   You are on the right track. If not then head back to the Cheery Lynn Designs blog @  http://cheerylynndesigns.blogspot.ca/ and start from the beginning so you don't miss any of the wonderful projects  from our design team.  Cheery Lynn Designs will be giving a $20.00 prize to one random commenter on the Cheery Lynn Blog Hop Post.

This is the front of the card. I just used a piece of patterned cardstock and layered the Fiona's Magic Mirror  and then the Alpine Flourish Doily on top. The butterflies are a couple of stickers.

Here is the best part. The inside with the 3-D Pop Up. The Pop Up Best Wishes die is easy to use. There are little notches in the dies. You just place these notches on the fold of your card to cut it.   These dies cut as well as score were they need to be folded. A tip is to cut them out and then use a rubber embossing matt and run it thru the die cutting machine again so the score lines are scored really good. Then you just valley or mountain fold on these score lines to get them to pop up. I layered another one of the Alpine Flourish Doily  to the inside of the card as well.

The Mayflower

A warm hello to you. Today I will share with you a guy card. I will be featuring one of Cheery Lynn Designs older dies called the Mayflower. This die is perfect for men's or even boy cards.

I started this card with three layers of cardstock for the base.  I layered the Burlap Border across the center at a angle. This border is one of my favorite dies on men's cards. The Mayflower  I cut in two different colors and inked them up. I just love the detail in this ship.

Here I layered the Sand dollar & Starfish as well as the Ship's Compass. The  Thank You was layered on the top corner.

I thank You for visiting the blog today and hope I have inspired you to do a few men's cards. The men do really appreciate homemade card too.

Have a wonderful craft day my friends.

Dragonfly Card

Happy New Year and all the best for 2018 to you. I hope you had a good holiday season with friends and family.

I found some dragon fly paper in my stash so I used some of it for my background . I then layered the Lilith Doily w/ Angel Wing Die in the center. I cut the Dragonfly and then colored it with ink a golds to match the paper. I used the angel wing in black to give the dragonfly a shadowed look. This is a very simple and quick, yet elegant card to make.

Thank you so much for visiting the blog today and for the comments you leave. They are always appreciated.
