Christmas In July

Hello This is a fun week at Cheery Lynn Designs with a challenge theme "Christmas in July". Frosty the Snowman  is the cutest die. You get to build your own snowman with all the pieces. The Snowflake Mesh Border was used along the bottom. The Colonial Lamp Post stands to the left. I used a torn piece of paper in the top right corner for another layer and layered a tiny corner piece of the snowflake mesh border on top. The sentiment Merry Christmas was place on the corner layer. The Snowflakes dies has a assortment of all shapes and sizes of snowflakes on it. They make such beautiful snowflakes falling from the sky. I invite you now to come join out Cheery Lynn Design challenge@ http://cheerylynndesigns.blogspot.ca/search/label/challenge for your chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree.

Wonderful Weddings

A warm hello to all. Today I am sharing a wedding card I created for the Cheery Lynn Design challenge "Wonderful Weddings."  It's a great theme with lots of weddings around the corner. I was going for simple yet elegant with only using a few dies. I started with a slightly patterned paper. I then cut the Sweetheart Frame and put music paper behind it. I tucked the marriage sentiment into the frame and added the Victorian Romance Flourish to the corner. The Black Eyed Susan and two of the Sweet Christine flowers finished the corner off nicely. The small Add a Flourish gave it a nice touch at the bottom. Liquid pearls in silver really worked well on the flourishes to give it a elegant look. I hope you will join us in the challenge this week @http://cheerylynndesigns.blogspot.ca/search/label/challenge for your chance to win a $20.00 store certificate. Have a great week.

Fathers Day - Keep it Krafty

A warm Hello to everyone. This weeks challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs is
"Keep it Krafty".  I created a Fathers Day Card for this challenge for all the Dads out there. I used the Infinity Doily behind my stamped images. The corners are the Lace Corner Deco J. I tucked the Celtic Chain behind the torn kraft paper. The sentiment DAD was stamped on the Horizon Fishtail Banner. Please come join our challenge @ http://cheerylynndesigns.blogspot.ca/search/label/challenge for your chance to win a $20.00 store certificate. I would love to see your creations.

Welcome back. This weeks challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs is "Creative Corners". I started by embossing the background with the Foliage embossing plate and then inking it up to make the design pop. Red, White and Blue

A warm Hello to everyone. With Fathers Day around the corner I thought I would do a Fathers Day card for the "Red, White and Blue" challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs.
I cut a blue and white base and then a blue and white layer with the Coved Rectangle Classic Lg. I used the Pierce Plate LG Parallel Rectange to give a few of the layers some added texture. I then cut the Lighthouse twice(one in white and once in red) I then alternated sections of the red on top of the white. A couple of Olive Branches were added to the corner. The sentiments Fathers and Day were added as another layer. This makes a nice manly card for Father's Day. Hope to see you join the challenge @ http://cheerylynndesigns.blogspot.ca/search/label/challenge for your chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree.
