Aspen Forest A2 Card - 2 -Piece FRM157
Snow Day Bear - 2 Piece - B910

I was having so much fun with the new dies and wanted to try a couple more dies out so I am sharing a second project using the same papers. Love the " Let it Snow" set because the lettering is all one piece and the three stars that come it  are nicely detailed. Across the bottom is one of a set of two embossing plates. Look how beautifully it embossed. The second one to this set has reindeer on it.

Antique Phonograph

Hi  I am going to share another card I did using a couple more dies from the new vintage release from Cheery Lynn Designs. I am featuring the Phonograph  and the  Distressed Honeycomb  which  are both from the new vintage collection.

For the card base I matted this beautiful lined  paper with roses onto black cardstock. The paper even has a few music notes on it so it was perfect to use with this phonograph. I layered the Distressed Honeycomb  to  the backgrouns. I also cut a extra Distressed Honeycomb and used it as a stencil to ink that pattern to the background as well.

Just look at the detail on this Phonograph  I cut it out of a few different colors and then layered accordingly to get the look I wanted.

Here I layered the Notes #1 and the Thank You  to the top corner.

This is the Whistle a Happy Tune  in gold. I just glued it in a couple of places so it curved and gave it added dimension

I thank you for visiting my blog today and hope I have inspired you to try out some of the new vintage dies. I just love this whole collection. Please take the time to leave a comment and tell me what you think.  Comments are always appreciated. Have a wonderful crafty day my friends.

You Have Me In Stitches

I am  featuring some of the new vintage release dies on this card that were just release by Cheery Lynn Designs. If you have not seen this new vintage release you must check it out. It is a amazing release.

I started with a beautiful pattern paper for my base and matted it in black as I wanted to give a chalk board look to my card. By cutting all the dies in black and using the oxide inks for the sentiments I think I accomplished the chalkboard look very well. A few buttons were added for embellishments to go with the theme.

Well I just love this new dress form set. Antique Dress Forms . You get three different dress forms in the set and this was my favorite of the three so chose this one for my project today. You can see the beautiful detail in it and all I did was add a flower and some silver outline stickers.

This is the Flourish Frame . I cut it in black and then used oxide inks to stamp the sentiment and flowers and to also ink the flourish areas around the edge.

This is one of a set of three of the new  Weathered Scrolls   that I stamped the sentiment onto.

I hope I have inspired you to play with some vintage dies. Thanks so much for visiting my blog and for the comments you leave.
