Mar 25th Easter girl Bunny

A warm hello to you. I wish you a Happy Easter. It is cool and rainy here today but at least we have no snow left in our yard so it should be a good weekend for a Easter egg hunt. With Easter weekend here I wanted to share a cute Easter card with you.

My base is black CS, Rectangle Scalloped LG Silver Stackers pierced using the Pierce Plate Large Parallel Rectangle and then the  Dutch Daisy Boutique Stacker A2 Frame .

I off set the sentiment Happy Easter sentiment after cutting it in two different colors to give a shadow effect and added some stitching to it with a black marker. I thought the cute bunny would look good standing on the letters and holding a bouquet of tulips created from the negatives of the Dutch Daisy Boutique Stacker A2 Frame . Two of the cute chicks from the Chicks (set of 3) stayed in the grass cut from the Grass Border while the other chick hopped up on the letters with the bunny. These chicks really are priceless.

Here I have used the Mini Fanciful Flourish Right and added some flowers to it from the Tiny Flower Kit . On this close up can really see what a nice textured background the Pierce Plate Large Parallel Rectangle makes.

I want to thank you for visiting my blog today and for the comments you leave. I enjoy reading them and hearing from you.

I invite you to come join the bi-weekly challenge over at Cheery Lynn Designs  @ http://cheerylynndesigns.blogspot.ca/search/label/challenge for your chance to win a $20.00 store certificate. I would love to see your creations.

So for this card I used some of the embossing patterns from the one IOE Embossing Plate  and inked it up. I then layered a beautiful CLD doily and created a flower arrangement using several of the CLD flower dies and greenery. I tucked a couple of paper designs in behind the flower arrangement.

Live Inspired

Hi I hope you are having a wonderful day. I have a card to share with you today using the beautiful CLD flower dies.

I always keep my scraps of paper as they can make the most beautiful card bases. I matted this beautiful designer paper with black cardstock for my base. I then layered the intricate Japanese Garden Lace Oval doily. All it needed now was flowers.

I stamped a sentiment on the inside opening of  the doily.

Here I have used the Judy's Blooms , Black Eyed Susan Strip , Sweet Williams Strip , and the Shasta Daisy to make the assortment of flowers. The Embellishment #2 was used for some of the centers for the flowers.

I used the Fern Leaf  for filler behind the flowers and added one of the butterflies from the Mini Butterflies w Angel Wings .

Thank You for stopping by today and for all the comments that get left. I enjoy reading them. Have a crafty week my friends.

Brusho Butterfly

A warm hello.  I hope you are having some of the nice spring weather that we are enjoying here. I am going to share with you  a Clean and Simple card. I have been playing with the watercolor Brusho's. They are so vibriant that I thought the butterflies would look pretty done with them.

I started with a black and purple base. I then cut the  Fleur De Lis A2 Card Facer - B701 out of some watercolor paper.

I masked around the  Fleur De Lis A2 Card Facer   pattern so the brusho color stayed on the inside of the cut outs. I then sprinkled some brusho and then spritzed it with water so the colors  mixed and spread out making a pattern of their own.
I took another piece of water color paper and sprinkled and spritzed again and then used that piece of paper to as a background for the butterfly that I had already cut from the Small Exotic Butterflies #2 w/Angel Wings in black. It really makes this butterfly striking. The sentiment Love  was also cut from the  colored water color paper and inked up.

Happy Easter

A warm hello to all you Cheery Lynn Fans . I have been thinking easter is right around the corner and wanting to do something special for my grandkids. What a better way than to start with a cute card and go from there.

I have chosen to feature the Chicks 2 from the last new release. They are just too cute.  I started with a pink base. The next layer is white cardstock that I pierced with the Pierce Plate Large Parallel Rectangle and then die cut the bottom edge of it with the Curved Border Set . I cut the Burlap Border out of some wicker looking paper and only popped out the odd cut outs and left some in to give it more of a wicker basket appearance. I like the effect it gave. Happy Easter was cut from some pattern paper and inked up. To the top corner I added the Fanciful Flourish  and use the Embellishments 3 for the cute tiny flowers.

Now for the Cute eggs and chicks. I layered the cracked egg from the Chicks 2 set of three onto the Lace Egg Five .

Here I layered another of the Chicks 2  onto the Lace Egg Seven . That chick is just priceless.

Here I layer the third chick from Chicks 2 onto the Lace Egg Five . I know this card will bring a smile to my grandkids face and that make is so worth creating a homemade card with love.

I would like to Thank You for stopping by my blog today and for all the comments you leave. They are really appreciated.
