Potted Sunflower

Hello Glad you stopped by.  Today I am featuring the new Sunflower Set  as well as a few other new dies. Cheery Lynn Designs new release had so many beautiful dies and they are so easy to work with to make beautiful cards very quickly.

For my base I started with the Rectangle Scalloped LG Purple Stackers  and then layered a beige paper next that I embossed with the Black Eyed Susans. A little ink on the embossing makes it pop a bit more. I then made a frame with the Rectangle Stitch and Cut Tool  by cutting the center out of it and then popped it up. The new Deutschland Square Doily  was tucked in behind the frame with the Deutschland Tag  layered off side. The corners are from the new Deutschland Accents. The accents, tag and flower pot were all cut in black and then Inka  Golds was added to give them a metal look. These new accents and tags are a nice addition to match up with previously release designs from CLD.

Here is a close up of the new Sunflower Set  that was potted in one the  new Flower Pots . All the detail in the sunflower is just amazing. With a little distress ink and a stylus to shape it a bit it will turn out beautifully with hardly any work.

I appreciate that you stopped by to check out my creation. Thanks again to those who take the time to leave a comment. It is always nice to hear what you think.

I would like to invite you now to join our challenge @http://cheerylynndesigns.blogspot.ca/search/label/challenge. The theme is "Anything Goes".
I would love to see your creations.

With Love

Glad to see you here. I thought I would share another card with you using two more of the newly released dies.  And being Valentines Day is just around the corner I decided to create a Valentine card.

I used some nice heart paper for the background and then layered the Oval Stitch and Cut Tool   , Fleur De Lis Oval Doily  and the Cupid in that order. I added the Branch in the bottom corner along with the Dandelions for the tiny flowers. For the top corner I cut the Heart and Arrow and stamped a sentiment on it. I then popped it up over the doily.

Here is a close up of the Fleur De Lis Oval Doily  and Cupid. It really is amazing what a little distress ink can do when used on the die cuts.

I hope I have inspire you and that you will join the Cheery Lynn Designs challenge for a chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree. The theme this week is "Sweethearts".

Thanks for stopping by today and a big thanks for all those who left comments for the Blog Hop. The comments were very much appreciate. Have a wonderful crafty week.

Cheery Lynn Designs New Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the Cheery Lynn Designs January New Release Blog Hop.  We are so excited to showcase the wonderful new dies that were just released.  If you just came from visiting  Bonnie @  "Make Time To Craft"  you are on the right track.  If not, head back to the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog @  http://cheerylynndesigns.blogspot.ca/ and start from the beginning so you don't miss any of the wonderful projects  from our design team.  "Follow through to the end of the hop and leave a comment on the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog too for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate."
For this card I have chosen to feature three New Release Dies. They are the
New  Windmill , New  Fleur De Lis Oval Doily, and the New  Flower Pots.

I used the Oval Stitch and Cut Tool - LG Silver Stitch Tool   for the three base layers. This is one from the last release and I am using it a lot. It is one of my many favorites. You can see the beautiful New Fleur De Lis Oval Doily  in the center. Got to love this one too. I layered a piece of map paper in the center of the doily and built up from there.

Here I have tucked the New Windmill in behind the flower arrangement. One of the flower pots from the New Flower Pots  was used to pot some flowers in.

This flower arrangement was created using the  Shasta Daisy , Medium Rose , Embellishment #2, and
the  Olive Branches   with some of the Wheat Heads  tucked in front of the New Windmill .

Here I took a piece of green paper and put glossy accents on it. While that was still wet I place one of the  Flower Pots  in black  and let the glossy accents squish through for a glassy 3D look. I really like the look it gave to the  Flower Pot  . As you can see the flower pot has wonderful details in it. I potted the Darling Daisies  and created tiny flowers as filler using the Dandelions.  A few pearls were added to the flower center and along the top right to give the final finishing touches.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today.  Your next visit on the blog hop is with Jenny @ "Jen's Paper Obsession" but before you go please leave a comment. I always appreciate comments.

Picture Perfect

How Exciting! Cheery Lynn Designs has just released a large assortment of new dies for us crafters to create with. You can check them out @ http://www.cheerylynndesigns.com/shop/ .

Some of my favorite dies from this new release are the film related dies so I decides to create a 8X8  page layout with them. I can see using these dies a lot.  They are amazing.

Here I started with a black matt with a white layer on top.  I layered the New Film Strip Border  across each corner of the page and stamped some sentiments inside a couple of them. A few more sentiments were stamped around the page.

Here I have cut the biggest of the New  Film Set which is a 2 piece set  and placed a photo inside it.

This photo show using two of the three piece set of the New  Polaroid Film . Again some photos were placed in the center of them. The New sentiment Lovely  was layered along side them.

Here I cut one of the New  Polaroid Film  out of a photo and layered the Camera inside it.

Thanks for stopping by and before you go please leave a comment below and let me know what you think of these New Film Related Dies.  Have a crafty week.

Jan 8 th Winter Wishes

A warm hello to all you Cheery Lynn fans out there.  We have been getting lots of snow here lately so thought I would share with you a winter card. I love snowmen. They always melt my heart. So a snowman card it is.

For my base I used the Rectangle Scalloped LG. I just got the Rectangle Stitch and Cut Tool  and the
Oval Stitch and Cut Tool   and I am so impressed them. They really do add a little something extra to your cards.  At the top right corner I layered the Snowflake Set 2 with the mittens from the Christmas Knick Knacks die set. On the left corner I used one of the dies from the the Say What? set and printed "Winter Wishes" on it.

For the  floral arrangement I used lots of cut outs from the Wreath Strip  for the base with the Snowflake Set 2 layered on top. The Sweet Williams and  Cherry Blossom  brightened it up.
A bit of glitter was added to give it the final touch.
I hope you can find the time and come join our challenge @ http://cheerylynndesigns.blogspot.ca/search/label/challenge. Joining the challenge will give you a chance to win a  $20.00 shopping spree.

Looking forward to next Friday when I will post a new project to inspire you. Have a crafty week

Celebrate 2016

Hi.  I wish  you all a Happy New Year and all the best for 2016 .

I really wish this photo showed the way this card sparkles. I used a gold paper as my base. I then used embossing ink on the Clocks Embossing Plate   and embossed  black cardstock. I put gold sparkly embossing powder on the cardstock and heat embossed it. It really made the clocks look cool. I inked the Pierced Banners  and layered the sentiment Celebrate onto it.

I layered the Pennant Die  in the center and layered the numbers 2016 from the Delicate Lace Script  set.
Well that is it for today but please do join our weekly challenge " Anything Goes "
@ http://cheerylynndesigns.blogspot.ca/search/label/challenge   for your chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree. I would love to see you creation.  Thanks for stopping by today and for the comments that are made. I appreciate all the comments.  Have a wonderful crafty week
