Today I am showcasing the New Year 2017 Shaker Card Kit along with the Shaker Mini Happy New Year Set and Shaker Mini Trumpet Set. Cheery Lynn designs sells the foam as well as the acetate to go with the rest of the shaker line for making these beautiful shaker cards.
There are different ways of creating these shaker cards. Here I have shown you how to cut several layers from cardstock and glue them together to get the space you want to add the metal shaker to. You can also use foam that has adhesive on it for your spacer. I have also added a few of the metal shakers on top of the design as well.
This is the Happy New Year 4 Piece Die Set that was released not long ago and pairs perfectly with this new shaker die.

I really like this die idea and your card. My only thought is, I hate to waste the money on a die I can only use for 1 year - it would be nice if there was some way the number "7" could be interchangeable for another number for future years.
