 I must say the CLD flowers really do make for a beautiful card that I would be proud to give anyone. For the base of this card I matted the flower patterned paper with black cardstock then popped up the poka dot  paper cut at a angle on top of that. This will let me layer designs behind and in front of that angle piece for added dimension. I layered the  Sweethearts Edger  to the top of the angled piece.  I do want to point out the Whimsical Bird  that I have tucked in the flowers. It is just too cute.

Now I would like to take the time to talk about the flowers I used here. The orange one is the Sunflower. I have used orange paper and cut two then off set them to make a fuller flower. I shaped the pedals with a stylus to give them a nice curve and dimension.

Both yellow flowers are cut from the same Cherry Blossom  die. For the bottom one I inked up around the edges only and spritzed it with water to blend the colors more. I off set the layers after shaping with the stylus.
The top yellow flower I inked in solid yellow then submersed it in water to even out the color and make it so I could get lots of wrinkles and texture with the stylus. I also shaped and assembled it differently so it looks like a different flower. This shows you can get different looks from the same die depending how you shape and assemble them.

These flowers I used are some of CLD older ones and they have newer ones as well. But old or new you just keep using them over and over as they make such beautiful flowers. Sometimes just a twist of the peddles with tweezers can give you a nice effect. Or maybe wet your flower and place the peddles around a pencil and scrunch it together looks awesome too. I always spritz as they shape nicer that way and help to blend your colors nicely too. Just play around with them and you will get many different looks.
