What's The Scoop

A Warm Welcome to all. This weeks challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs is "Hot Time in the Summer".  I thought I would get creative and make an icecream cone using the Mesh Border and the Ambergris Tiny Doily. I folder some copy paper and hand cut the shape of a cone. I then laid that pattern on the mesh border and cut it out. I cut the borders of the leftover mesh border and put around the edge of the cone to finish it off. I cut the some of the top edge off the doily off to make the scoop of icecream.  Now how cool is that. I was very pleased the way it turned out. I embossed the background with the Clocks Embossing Plate. The Swedish Spring Oval Frame I placed behind the icecream cone. The Ivy Corner Flourish  and flowers from the Flower Chain Border are in the corner. The Horizon Fishtail Banner goes along the bottom with a few of the Mini Butterflies w Angel Wing flying around. Come play for your chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree @ http://cheerylynndesigns.blogspot.ca/
