Doilies

Well here I am back with my card for the Cheery Lynn Challenge. The theme this week is "Doilies". CLD doilies are so intricate and pretty that they are a pleasure to work with. I started by placing the French Pastry Doily on top of the  Dutch Scalloped Doily. I also used the center of the dutch scalloped square behind the flowers. The beautiful flowers were made from  the Black Eyed Susan Strip and place them in the center. The Watering Can at the bottom corner is very cool. The Birdhouse with Lattice was place at the top corner. The Ornamental Gate was place along the side and a few butterflies were cut from the Butterflies Flying Among the Vines Mesh Border and landed on the gate. One of the birds from the Birds of the Earth and Sky is seen flying in front of the birdhouse. A few Olive Branches here and there filled in nicely. I place a metal medallion in the top corner between the doilies and added a bit of Inka-a-Glod to it. That's it for this weeks challenge. I invite you to join the challenge for a chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree. I would love to see your creation.

Debbie, I love everything about this sweet card! Love the colors, the way you shaped your flower petals, the wrought iron gate and how you snipped the tiny butterflies out of the border die. Your shading is amazing! Love it all! Oh, and did I mention the layers of the doilies? Perfection!
