Birthday Card
I made this birthday card using a Cheery Lynn Flower and Leaf Flourish. The tree frame, bird cage and bird is Memorybox. The ribbon banner is spellbinders.
Pine Grosbeak by the Chicken Wire
I have great news to share today. I have been invited to join the Cheery Lynn Design Team. Of course I accepted as I am addicted to and love creating with the Cheery Lynn Designs. I am so excited . It also gives me an opportunity to work with all the talented ladies on the Cheery Lynns design team.
So here is my first creation as a Design Team Member for Cheery Lynn Designs where the theme this week on the Cheery Lynn Challenge Blog is "Flowers"
I was so taken with the realistic details of the chicken wire that I choose it to work with and created around it. I applied a couple of colors of inka golds to the wire. Of course I had fun making an assortment of flowers following the theme. To me the sunflowers where a good choice to use as my focal point with the chicken wire. I just kept adding things like flourishes, leaves, and a garden gate creating lots of layers. I stamped and colored a bird image with copics and tucked him into the mix. I love birds and hope he looks like a Pine Grosbeak that I tried to make him out to be. Oh and I can't forget to mention the cutest little bees that are from one of the new sets called Tiny Things with Wings. That set is one of my favorites now and will get used lots and lots.
I hope I have inspired you and hope all you creative people out there will visit our Cheery Lynn Challenge Blog and enter your creations for a chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree at Cheery Lynn Designs.

Lacey Oval Card
This is a card I created for the Cheery Lynn Shaped Card Challenge. I started with the largest oval doily stacker then put a pink background behind it. I used the polynesian sail oval for the frame. I added three different flowers all made with a pattern paper and Judy's blooms die. The small flowers are from the BAF #2. Added the dragon fly and some mini fanciful flourishes along with the anastasia border. Used Viva Inka Golds to all the elements giving them all a soft shimmmery look.

Cherish Frame
This is a creation I entered into Cheery Lynn "Frame It Challenge". I started with a frame and altered so it is a frame with in a frame. The dies used are all Cheery Lynn Designs except for the bird with is a Poppy Stamps die.I started with the dainty dutch deco doily and made a frame around the glass opening by turning two of them sideways and splicing them to made it work with the opening size. I ruffled the edge abit and turned the two corners over and added a pearl.I used part of the large sunflower doily for the top corner popping it up abit and added some bling flourishes to it. Put a rounded bird cage at the side with a bird from Poppy Stamps die. I then made some roses and babys breath from the BAF sets. Just bought these sets and love them. Also I sprayed the roses with Goosebumps so they look like porcelian roses now. Also added a butterfly to the corner of the doily frame and abit more babys breath under the bird. Added a bit more flourish bling to the bottom corner. I really do enjoy the altered art.

Vintage Card
This is a card I created for Cheery Lynn Designs "Add a Flourish" challenge and for Joan's Garden "Vintage" challenge" I started by using a Marianne Design embossing folder on the background to emboss and cut along the edges. I use a spellbinders die for the oval shape and their ribbon banner. I added some flowers using the Cheery Lynn Sweet Williams and the Cherry Blossom. Added Cheery Lynns fanciful flouish, rose leaves, olive branches and then had fun placing some of the new Tiny Things from Cheery Lynn as well. I cut a shadow for the small butterfly and added a dragom fly and the oh so cute little hummingbird. These "Little Things" dies are just priceless.
