Fancy Reindeer

 Cheery Lynn Designs has just release some wonderful new Christmas dies. I am featuring this new Fancy Reindeer 7 Piece Die Set  which is one of them . They are so nicely detailed.

My base for this card is a Bendi Fold which really enables you to get a lot of layers and dimension. I layered the Oval - Scalloped LG Stackers Nesting Dies and Polynesian Sails Oval and added it to the top of the card for more shape and background. I embossed all the card pieced  with the Snowflake Flurries  before assembling it.

Here you can see all the detail on the Fancy Reindeer . I layered the Icicles Border along the curved part of the card. The trees are from the Camping Die Set . They make awesome winter/ Christmas trees too. The Happy Winter sentiment is from the new Winter Holiday Word 6 Piece Die Set. I cut up one of the  Dancing Snow Flurries into pieces and layered it here and there.

The reindeer head was layered to the center of the oval piece. And the Snowflake Set 2 where layered together and layered onto the top.

For this card I embossed both the flowered paper and the kraft paper with the Birthday Oval Embossing Folder - IOEEF02  .
The one I embossed on the kraft paper I cut just the center out and placed it on top of the flowered paper leaving the embossed dots on the flowered paper showing. I inked up the embossing to make it pop a bit more. With the Black Eyed Susan , Shasta Daisy , Olive Branches and Mini Fanciful Flourish layered onto the card it makes for a beautiful card.

July 14th Birdhouse

A warm hello to you today.  There are so many beautiful bird sounds outside and birds fluttering every where that I though I would go for a bird themed card.

I used the French Lattice Small die as a stencil for my background. I cut it out and then placed it on my paper and inked different shades of oranges and yellows on top of it then removed it leaving me a beautiful background. I have kept the colored die cut and will use it on a up coming project that I will post on August 2nd so watch for it.

I cut and inked the Fancy Bird House  which has wonderful detail in it. The birds are from the Feathered Friends  and I cut them from a pattern paper which I think makes them look whimsical and cute. The corners are the Lace Corner Deco J . The sunflower fills in the corner and I used the leaves from the Sunflower Set to add to the sunflower.

Sakura Flowers

A warm hello to you today.  I hope you are finding time to relax , craft and enjoy yourself today.

 

 I have feature the new  Sakura Flower Die and the  new Birthday Wishes Circle Die  from Cheery Lynn Designs May new release.

 

 

I started with a layered green and black base. I then cut the Fiona’s Magic Mirror  from some pretty flowered paper and inked it up.

Here is a close up of the Sakura Flower . It is a beautiful flower die with flowers, buds and greenery all in one die.

For the sentiment I cut the Birthday Wishes Circle Die  in green and then fussy cut the circle away leaving just the "Birthday Wishes". This give you a second option using the Birthday Wishes Circle Die  for another look. I layered the sentiment onto the Pierced Stacker #2 .
