A warm Hello to you today. I had a couple of flowers in my stash that I had previously made using the Chrysanthemum Strip. So I used them and created this card around them.
I started with a beautiful gold pattern paper to match the flowers. I layered the Lattice Heart & Vines to the center and layered the two chrysanthemums flowers made from the Chrysanthemum Strip . A few of the Flourish #13 leaves were tucked behind the flowers. The sentiment thank you from the Thank You #2 was layered along the bottom. A simple yet elegant card.
I thank you for visiting my blog and for the comments you leave. They are appreciated. Please come join the challenge @ http://cheerylynndesigns.blogspot.ca/search/label/challenge for your chance to win a $20.00 store certificate. I would love to see what you create.
Have a wonderful crafty week.

On The Road
A warm hello to you today. Not sure if you would call this card clean and simple but it was definitely a quick and simple card.
For the base I used a product that Cheery Lynn Designs is now selling called Kraft-Tex. It is tough and doesn't tear and really looks like leather. I embossed the Kraft-Tex using the Gears Embossing Plate . I layered the Pierced Stacker #4 on top of that followed by the smallest of the Circle Stitch and Cut Tool with Happy Birthday printed on it. I tucked some of the assorted gears from the Gears (Set of 9) in and around the circle. Last I cut the motorcycle from the Kraft-Tex and layered it for my focal point. It does makes a great manly card.
I invite you now to come and join the bi-weekly challenge

Dream Catcher
A warm hello to you all. I hope you are having a nice sunny day. Today I am featuring the Crafty Ann Collection's Card Cover Maker #4 as well as the detailed CLD Dream Catchers #1 on my card.
I started my base with a white piece of cardstock. I die cut the Card Cover Maker #4 from the center of the paper. I then embossed around the edge using the Oval IOE Plates and the Frame It Embossing Folder. There was a bit of space at each end which I added a couple of embossed lines to by using a scorpal.
I added a flower matting and green matting to the back of my base.
I have layered the center of the Mirror Mirror Doily Frame (Set of 3) to the center of the card. The sentiment Love and You were layered onto the doily.
Here is a close up of the beautifully detailed Dream Catchers #1 with a some bling added.

Believe
Hello. It is nice to see you here. Today I am going to share with you a card featuring the Quadrafoil Tag and the Fleur De Lis Border from the last new CLD release. They are both such pretty and intricate designs.
My base was started with black cardstock. I cut two pieces of mauve paper and then cut one edge on each piece with the Fleur De Lis Border Set - B680. I cut a strip of the pattern paper and layered the two pieces of mauve paper on each side of it with the cut pattern facing each other. I then layered the French Lattice Small at the top. This gave me my base that I wanted to build on.
I used the Quadrafoil Tag cut in both purple paper and white paper. I fussy cut the oval from the white which was only a couple of short easy snips. I then layered the sentiment Believe to the center of the tag. I cut another tag in purple and cut the top and bottom flourish design from it to use as my corners. This set does come with a separate flourish design but I wanted bigger corner pieces so choose to cut them from the tag itself. For the One Free Wish fairy I cut it in three different colors. Skin tone, flower pattern paper for the dress and purple pattern patter for the wings. The glitter on the wings give her the finishing touch. I did cut the fairy from the rest of the design as well.
To the bottom left corner I used the Small Gardenia to create a beautiful flower and fussy cut some of the leaves from the paper and place under it.
Here is a closer look at the bottom half of the card showing the pretty borders.
I want to thank you for visiting my blog today and for the comments you leave. I enjoy reading them and hearing from you.
