Anything Goes /Halloween

Welcome back. I have used a few of the new Halloween dies on this 7.5 x 8.5 mini album cover page for the Cheery Lynn Designs challenge "Anything Goes". I started by layering a couple of the different sizes of frames from the Deutschland Boutique Stacker A2 Frame  set. I then layered the Trick or Treat , Home Sweet Home , Jack-O'-Lanterns . and Tomb Stone  { all newly released dies } on top of the frames.  The cutest little crows along the top of the one frame is from the Tomb Stone set. The tiny witch is from the Bundle of 7 Dies  set. The spider web is from the Lace Corner Deco H  set. The Ornamental Gate  is used behind the Jack o Lanterns and House. I cut a third gate and cut the top of the pickets off and layered in front of the tomb stone. These dies used together really do make a great cover page for a Halloween mini album. Silver and /or Gold

 

Hello The theme for the challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs is "Silver and / or Gold".  I wanted to show you as many of the new Christmas dies as I could so I did  a  8.5 by 8.5 cover page for a Christmas mini album. I started with a white base and stamped some clouds on it. I tore some paper to make the snowbanks. The Victorian Picket Fence  was layered along the front. Then I stared layering all the beautiful Christmas dies after cutting and inking them all up. The Gingerbread House  was placed just a touch behind the snow bank with the candy cane and candies on each side of it. The Snowflake Delight 2  was layered in the top corner. One of the snowflakes from the Snowflake Set 2 was place in the center of it and one on the fence. I then cut the Toy Soldier  in blue. red and gold and cut them to layer the different colors were I wanted them. Then I  place a piece of flesh colored paper  for the face and hands and brown for the hair on the die and cut the pieces to layer for them areas. He is just priceless.  The Reindeer Fun  dies was used next. I cut him in brown and then used a different brown for the background and fussy cut around the reindeer. I cut a second one in gold and then cut out the accents and layered it on top adding red bling to them. The nose was cut from red metallic paper. He is so adorable.  The  Icicles Border   was placed across the top. The Paris Signs 1 was placed in the top left corner with the sentiment Believe layered on top. Well I have just used several of the new Christmas dies used for you to get ideas from. New Release July 2015

 

A warm hello to all. Today Cheery Lynn Designs has released an great assortment of new dies. You will want to check them out @ http://www.cheerylynndesigns.com/. I created this card using a couple of the new dies. I started the card using a pattern paper and layering the Burlap Border  up the left hand side. Next I layered one of the  Horizon French Flair Boutique Stacker Frames . The New Penny Piggy  was placed as a focal point. Two layers of the Grass Border 2 are stacked along the bottom. Two of the chicks from the (Chicks set of 3) were added to keep Penny Piggy company. The Leafy Flourish  was added for more greenery and flowers. The sentiment Live and Love were cut from the Live Laugh Love  and placed along the top. Check out all the other Design Team members creations using the new dies

July12 th White on White

Hi I am back with another challenge for Cheery Lynn Designs. The theme is "White on White. I started by embossing  the Lace Square Heart with the Wood Grain  and matting it onto white cardstock. Next I cut a piece of white cardstock with the Square - Scalloped LG Stackers  and layered the Sweetheart Frame  on top. I then layer these two matted layers together. The Fancy Bird House  was layered next followed by the Pierced Banners  and dove from the Feathered Friends. The Paris Signs 1 was added to the top corner after printing a sentiment on it. A black gem was added for the eye of the dove and a bit of bling to make it sparkle.  I think this white on white gives a really elegant look to this card. July 5th In Stitches

Hello The challenge this week at Cheery Lynn Designs is "In Stitches". I used the new A2 Fancy Step Card Kit  for the base. I place white paper behind the scroll pattern. I layered one of the Pierced Stacker #3 to the back, then layered the Royal Scandinavian Tag 2  to the center of it. The sentiments and needle and thread where stamped on.  The  white flourish along the bottom at the back and the flourish in the corner and at the top where from the A2 Fancy Step Card Kit. The colored flower flourishes where from the Step Card Bundle Set #4 . I hope you will come join our challenge
