A warm hello to you. "Back to Nature" is the theme this week for the challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs.  I think this image is perfect and these CLD dies go perfect with the image. The base is the
XM Scalloped Square. I used  the Historic Barcelona Square Boutique Stackers Frame dies and laid it on top of my image and cut it out that way.  The Watering Can is at the bottom corner and the Small Exotic Butterflies at the top corner. The flower was made using the Judy's Blooms. The center of the flower is from the Embellishment #1. The Dandelions were used for filler behind the flower. Anything Goes

A warm hello to you. This weeks challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs is "Anything Goes".  I wanted to make a nice spring card and hopefully hurry spring along. I used the Horizon Fishtail Banners and cut from some beautiful butterfly paper placing the dies so they had the images from the paper where I wanted them. I cut the sentiment from the paper using the Sentiment Tag 2 and place it on top of the Banners. A couple of flowers from the Black Eyed Susan Strip and flourishes from the Mini Fanciful Flourish Right finished the card off nicely. Now it is your turn. Please come join our challenge

Hello Today I am sharing with you my card for the "Anything Goes challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs. This card has several layers to it. I started with the Scalloped Rectangle for the base. This set of dies comes as half dies then you flip it over and cut the other half  for a rectangle or square as I have done. You can really manipulate this set for different sizes and shapes. It is a big set of dies so would be perfect for scrapbook pages or albums even. Very versatile. I hope I have explained that clearly but check the die set out and you will see what I mean.  I then layered the  Historic Barcelona Square Boutique Stackers Frame, Sentiment Tag 2 and  the Heart and Arrow in that order. I cut three of the  Tags 4 out and layered them and added some bling. They are placed on the bottom corner. The flower is the  Chrysanthemum Strip  with one of the Embellishment #2 used in the center. Last I tucked some of the negative pieces from the Florence Filigree Doily  for the filler behind the flower and tags.  I now invite you to come and join our challenge

Altered Photo Album

This is the second altered art project I have posted today done at last weekends crop. You can scroll down on my blog to see the first one. This one  was a plain wooded book style photo album before I started altering it. Again a mixed media project. Doilies

Hi there. Today I will share with you the card I created for the Cheery Lynn Designs challenge. The challenge theme this week is doilies. I have used several doilies in layers and they all have layered so nicely. I started with a white card base, I then layered the Dutch Scallop Square , Large Sunflower , Pinwheel Doily w Angel Wing , the center of the Polynesian Sails Oval , in that order. The pinwheel doily I cut two of in two different colors and interchanges the colors.  The Sunflower was layered on top of all the doilies with a couple of the Fanciful Flourish added behind the flower.  The center of the flower is from the Build a Flower # 1 and the Embellishment #2 . The sentiment Thank You #2  was layer on the bottom corner.
