A Beautiful Place

A warm Hello to you. 

For this a clean and simple card I have featured the beautiful Fiona's Magic Mirror Die.

I covered a white card front with some colorful flowered paper. I place the doily so it is just above the card. I then layered a sentiment on top of the doily. 

Here is the inside using the Pop Up Happy Birthday Word . I covered all of the inside with matching paper and colored the words with copic markers. I hope I have inspired you to play with some pop up cards. They really do make people smile.

Happy Mothers Day

A warm Hello to you. Thought I would get a head start on Mother's Day and create a Mother's Day card.

I started by creating a card base using the Pop Up Hearts die. I then covered the card base with some pretty pattern paper with a bird on.

I layer the Ambergris Doily in front of the bird and then created a flower arrangement using the Daisy Strip, Tea Rose small, Mini Fanciful Flourish Right and Mini Fanciful Flourish. Some leaves were added from the Tea Rose small. The Happy, Mother's and Day were layered onto the top of the hearts.

Let's Go Retro Car

For this Let's Go Retro release I have chosen to feature the retro car which is just priceless. 

I started with a scenic paper for my background and matted it in black. I cut all the pieces of the car using the Classic Car Die Set  and assemble them to create this cute car. I used clear acetate for the windshield. I shaped the car so it was curved a bit and layered it onto the scene. I stamped the sentiment onto the Sentiment Tag 3 . I added some pearls to the tag using a pearl pen. I then created a flower arrangement to the top corner of the tag using the Branch  , Tea Rose Medium  and the Tea Rose small  set.

Wedding Day

A warm Hello to you. 

For the base of this wedding card I have used the Window  and layered a pattern paper that reminds me of wallpaper behind it. To the top and bottom corner I layered the Victorian Romance Flourish which is so elegant. The bride and groom are from the Wedding Vows set. 

I created some larger flowers using the Daisy Strip and smaller flowers using the Tiny Flower Kit. The leaves were from the Tea Rose small set. The flowers and leaves were inked with distress inks. Pearls were added to the flowers and flourish on the corner.

Inside I used the Pop Up Birthday Cake  after cutting the candles off of it. I layered the Border Carnivale  along the top of the cake to cover were the candles were. This birthday cake makes a great wedding cake too.
I then cut and glued down the Alpine Flourish Doily and stamped the sentiment on it. 

It is always nice to make that special homemade card for a wedding.  So I hope I have inspired you into making a special wedding card.

Floral Arrangement

A warm Hello to you.  Today I am going to share a card with you using some beautiful flowers and greenery from Cheery Lynn Designs..

For the base I matted a purple patterned paper with black cardstock. I cut one of the Nautical Wheeler Doily. The doily cuts out in two pieces. So I layered the large one onto the base first and then tucked the smaller one in behind on the top corner. This gave me a pretty base to layer my flowers and greenery onto.

I cut and layered some greenery onto the doily from the Fern Leaf,  Branch 2  and Olive Branches sets. The big center flower was created using the Daisy Strip . The smaller flowers were cut from the Tea Rose small and the Tea Rose Medium. All flowers were colored and then sprayed with water and shaped with a stylus. Some pearls and prills were added to the center of the flowers.

On the inside of the card  I used the Pop Up Best Wishes. These pop up cards are fun and easy to make.

Pop Up Table and Chairs

Hi.  Today I am featuring another one of the Pop Up Dies newly released by Cheery Lynn Designs. It is the "Table and Chairs".

This is the front of the card and I placed the Swedish Spring Oval Frame to the center of the card. I printed the sentiment on it and stamped a sprig of flowers to the top of it.

Here is the inside of the card. The table and chairs are just priceless the way they pop up. The doily on the table was cut from the Felicity Tiny Doily. I used  the Swedish Spring Oval Frame  to cut another frame from the pattern paper to use as a area rug in front of the table. Now how cute is that. These Pop Ups really do make a nice inter- active card to give to that special person.

You Warm My Heart

A warm hello to you.  Today I am featuring the new Pop  Up Table and Chairs Die from Cheery Lynn Designs.

For the base of my card I have double matted in white and  black CS. I then matted on top with a woodgrain paper.  I used the Shuttered Window w/ Flower Box as my focal point. I filled the flower box using the  Tiny Fanciful Flourish and the Tiny Flower Kit . On the right side I used the Sentiment Tag 3 at the top and the Pierced Banners at the bottom. I stamped a sentiment on both of them. I stamped a cup and fussy cut it out and popped it up on the bottom corner. I stamped the steam from the cup on the background paper.

This is the inside of the card with the Pop Up Table & Chairs. I used the woodgrain paper on the floor and a wallpaper type  paper on the wall behind the table and chairs. I made a rug with a rectangle piece if paper and cut fringes to put on the ends of the rug. I  Cut a second window and put above the table to look out at the sky and trees outside. For the pictures on the wall I cut two small frames out of the window and put some flower paper behind. I am really loving these new pop up dies. You can get so creative with them.
