I did a couple of demos at the Cupcake Crop on the weekend.  One of the demos I did was with using Heartfelt Creations. This was a popular demo that everyone enjoyed.

The second demo I did was using the Cheery Lynn Designs Pop Up dies which was also popular.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to watch the demos.

Wooden Bridhouse Decor

This is a birdhouse I created for a sample for the Cupcake Crop on the weekend.  They were selling these wooden birdhouses and lots of creative ladies were doing these birdhouses and they all turned out so unique.  I used mostly Heartfelt Creations on mine except for a couple of Cheery Lynn Designs as well.

Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment if you have the time.
Have a crafty day.

Sharing Two Cards

I am sharing with you two cards I created using Heartfelt Creations papers and dies. I have also used Cheery Lynn Designs Step Card die and the Sweet Williams flower die.

For this card I have used the Cheery Lynn Designs Step Card base. I used Heartfelt Creations borders along the sides and top of the step card. I have fussy cut some flowers and butterflies from the paper. I shaped them and layered the flowers on top of the flowers on the paper to give them added dimension.

Here I used some Heartfelt Creations paper for the base of the card. I used the Heartfelt Creations corner die and cut it from matching paper and then layered it onto the corner of the card. I used Cheery Lynn Designs Sweet Williams flowers and their Mini Flourishes to layer onto the corner.

Have a crafty day my friends.

Pine Grosbeak 2014 Calender

A warm hello to you today. Just wanted to share with you a  calendar that I made at "Croppin With The Chicks" scrapbooking retreat a couple of weeks ago. I started with a 12x12 Board and built up from there. I especially liked how the flower arrangement turned out on the top left. The new wheat die from Cheery Lynn Designs is a new favorite of mine. It makes for a beautiful filler. With the addition of a few feathers to go with the birds I was totally happy with the way it all came together .

Frame with Mirror

This was my favorite project of the weekend that I created at Croppin with the Chicks. I started with a 12x12 board. I distressed the base paper and attached it. I then ripped the top piece of paper into pieces. I curled, folded and distressed and  inked the paper as well and pieced it back into place. Kind of like working on a puzzle. LOL. I then placed a mirror on the center and began embellishing it with flowers, flourishes, doilies and borders along with some metal embellishments.

The five following posts below were also either done for the crop or at the crop. So please scroll down and take a peek. A big thank you to Wanda Boyd for putting on such a fantastic crop as always with all the ideas, yummy food and a whole lot of fun and friendship. Can't wait for the fall crop now.

Family Banner

This was a banner I made as a sample for "Croppin with the Chicks". The Cheery Lynn Design doilies really made this a awesome banner. I also made all the roses on the banner from Cheery Lynn Design dies. I did a demo on how to make these roses at the crop and would like to thank everyone who sat in on the demo.

All in the Family

This was a double page layout I did as a sample for "Croppin with the Chicks". I used several Cheery Lynn Designs doilies and butterfly as well as some Memory Box dies.

Three Beautiful Granddaughters

This was a double page layout that I did as a sample for "Croppin with the Chicks". All dies used on this layout are from Cheery Lynn Designs. It is always nice to work with photos of my three beautiful granddaughters.

Kleenex Box Plus

This past weekend I attended the " Croppin With the Chicks" Scrapbook Crop. It was Friday. Saturday and Sunday and what a fun fill three days it was. This altered project was one that I spent some time creating. I started with a wooded kleenex box as well as two divided boxes and attached all three together. I then painted and crackled the box. I used some Cheery Lynn doilies on the top and front. Added some roses, flourishes and leaves along with a couple of gold trimmed chocolate colored gems. I then framed one of my favorite photos of that I took around Lake Louise as the colors matched with the flowers and note pads. This will sit in our travel trailor  With the playing cards, dice, notepads etc and will be very handy.

Croppin with The Chicks Coffee Mug

This weekend will be an exciting one. I am off to a weekend  crop call "Croppin with The Chicks". I decided to do a special coffee mug for myself to take to the crop. With the long hours I'll definitly need coffee. I started my base with some country looking sunflower paper.  I stamped the Sarah Kay Country Girl image. She was perfect to for the mug with the chicks all around her. Then after fussy cutting her out I popped her up on the sunflower paper. I used some of the Cheery Lynn chicken wire in front of her and the chicks. I use the Cheery Lynn olive branch to add some greenery around her and the chicks.  I finished it off by adding a tag that has "Croppin with The Chicks" on it. Tim Horton's here I come!

This is a card I created for the Cheery Lynn Shaped Card Challenge. I started with the largest oval doily stacker then put a pink background behind it. I used the polynesian sail oval for the frame. I added three different flowers all made with a pattern paper and Judy's blooms die. The small flowers are from the BAF #2. Added the dragon fly and some mini fanciful flourishes along with the anastasia border. Used Viva Inka Golds to all the elements giving them all a soft shimmmery look.

Cherish Frame

This is a creation I entered into Cheery Lynn "Frame It Challenge". I started with a frame and altered so it is a frame with in a frame. The dies used are all Cheery Lynn Designs except for the bird with is a Poppy Stamps die.I started with the dainty dutch deco doily and made a frame around the glass opening by turning two of them sideways and splicing them to made it work with the opening size. I ruffled the edge abit and turned the two corners over and added a pearl.I used part of the large sunflower doily for the top corner popping it up abit and added some bling flourishes to it. Put a rounded bird cage at the side with a bird from Poppy Stamps die. I then made some roses and babys breath from the BAF sets. Just bought these sets and love them. Also I sprayed the roses with Goosebumps so they look like porcelian roses now. Also added a butterfly to the corner of the doily frame and abit more babys breath under the bird. Added a bit more flourish bling to the bottom corner. I really do enjoy the altered art.

Vintage Card

This is a card I created for Cheery Lynn Designs "Add a Flourish" challenge and for Joan's Garden "Vintage" challenge" I started by using a Marianne Design embossing folder on the background to emboss and cut along the edges. I use a spellbinders die for the oval shape and their ribbon banner. I added some flowers using the Cheery Lynn Sweet Williams and the Cherry Blossom. Added Cheery Lynns fanciful flouish, rose leaves, olive branches and then had fun placing some of the new Tiny Things from Cheery Lynn as well. I cut a shadow for the small butterfly and added a dragom fly and the oh so cute little hummingbird. These "Little Things" dies are just priceless.

Lattice Heart Box

This is a heart shaped box that I decorated for the Cheery Lynn Challenge. I started by wrapping some flowered paper around the side and putting Cheery Lynns french lattice over it. I added the Cheery Lynn dancing doily lace border around the edge of the lid. I put the mini flourish on the top and added a Rose that I made out of paper from party streamers. Makes a beautiful rose. Tucked three leaves from the Cheery Lynn leaf strip under the rose. I cut some flowers out of the paper that I used to cover the side and added them to the top for extra filler. I colored the beautiful Cheery Lynn hummingbird and placed it on top with the flowers.

Over the Moon in Love with You

Today I have created a card for the Cheery Lynn Sweetheart Challenge. I decided to do a card for a man. I created a Stampscape scene with a moon in it to go with the tag on the card. I always think black and white is so striking so went with the black and white theme. I framed the scene with a oval and embossed some leaves on the background using a cuddlebug folder. I then added the Cheery Lynn grass border along the bottom and placed a buck from Memorybox behind the grass. Attached my tag embossed with a Close To My Heart stamp. Added the Cheery Lynn rose leaves to the tag and the corner of the card.

Let it Snow

This is a card I created for the Cheery Lynn Snowflake Challenge. I started with the window , shutters and window box from Memorybox. The cat looking out the window is Poppystamps.I hung Curtains in the window using Cheery Lynn Anastasia border. In the window box I used the Cheery Lynn small fanciful flourish. I added some Cheery Lynn snowflakes to the flourish instead of flowers to fit in with my snowflake theme. I cut a small Cheery Lynn doily in quarters and used two of the pieces to frame in the top of the card. I used liquid pearls and added it to the center of the snowflakes. The snowman image is Serendipity. I colored him with copics and added liquid applique to the snow on his hat, broom and birdhouse. I attached another Cheery Lynn snowflake to his hat. Finally I added a tag to finish off the card.

Blue and White Thank You Card

This is a card I created to enter into Joan's Garden Weekly Challenge. The challenge was to be blue and white, have a flower, a Thank You and use four corners. I use 4 Cheery Lynn corners arranged around the tear drop die of spellbinders. I then added a Cheery Lynn lace edge up the side of the card. I added some roses with some blue Cheery Lynn leaves behind them. I then added some white Cheery Lynn leaf flourishes. I added a Memory Box Butterfly and a Spellbinders Banner with silver Thank You sticker. Added a few pearls to the lace border and to the butterfly. Stamped a humming bird with vines to the center of the teardrop Spellbinder die. Put glossy accents over the hummingbird and vines to make them pop a bit.
