Wooden Bridhouse Decor

This is a birdhouse I created for a sample for the Cupcake Crop on the weekend.  They were selling these wooden birdhouses and lots of creative ladies were doing these birdhouses and they all turned out so unique.  I used mostly Heartfelt Creations on mine except for a couple of Cheery Lynn Designs as well.

Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment if you have the time.
Have a crafty day.

Paint Pour on Canvas.

Hello I was at a scrapbooking crop last weekend and got to try something new that I have not played with before. I learned how to paint pour. This is my first attempt at it and would like to share it with you. This really fascinates me with all the patterns and cells that show up. Thank You Wanda for demoing this for me.

Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment and tell me what you think of this canvas.

Have a crafty day my friends.

TOPS Fundraiser Art Board

This is a multi media canvas that I am donating  to my TOPS chapter to use as a fundraiser. I have used gesso and stencils to get the barn board look and colored it with gelatos. The center piece with the hearts is chip board from Dusty Attic as is the reeds at the bottom. The flowers, birdhouse, hummingbird and dragonfly are all created from Cheery Lynn Design dies. The butterfly is a stamped image and colored with gelatos.

The photos really doesn't do them justice. Hope you enjoyed a peek at them. Feel free to leave a comment.

Frame with Mirror

This was my favorite project of the weekend that I created at Croppin with the Chicks. I started with a 12x12 board. I distressed the base paper and attached it. I then ripped the top piece of paper into pieces. I curled, folded and distressed and  inked the paper as well and pieced it back into place. Kind of like working on a puzzle. LOL. I then placed a mirror on the center and began embellishing it with flowers, flourishes, doilies and borders along with some metal embellishments.

The five following posts below were also either done for the crop or at the crop. So please scroll down and take a peek. A big thank you to Wanda Boyd for putting on such a fantastic crop as always with all the ideas, yummy food and a whole lot of fun and friendship. Can't wait for the fall crop now.

Kleenex Box Plus

This past weekend I attended the " Croppin With the Chicks" Scrapbook Crop. It was Friday. Saturday and Sunday and what a fun fill three days it was. This altered project was one that I spent some time creating. I started with a wooded kleenex box as well as two divided boxes and attached all three together. I then painted and crackled the box. I used some Cheery Lynn doilies on the top and front. Added some roses, flourishes and leaves along with a couple of gold trimmed chocolate colored gems. I then framed one of my favorite photos of that I took around Lake Louise as the colors matched with the flowers and note pads. This will sit in our travel trailor  With the playing cards, dice, notepads etc and will be very handy.

This was an unfinished wooded trinket box that I bought from the dollar store. I finished it with embossed metal. I then added some Inka Golds to the metal for color. The rose on the top was embossed on metal with a brass stencil.
