Vintage Card

This is a card I created for Cheery Lynn Designs "Add a Flourish" challenge and for Joan's Garden "Vintage" challenge" I started by using a Marianne Design embossing folder on the background to emboss and cut along the edges. I use a spellbinders die for the oval shape and their ribbon banner. I added some flowers using the Cheery Lynn Sweet Williams and the Cherry Blossom. Added Cheery Lynns fanciful flouish, rose leaves, olive branches and then had fun placing some of the new Tiny Things from Cheery Lynn as well. I cut a shadow for the small butterfly and added a dragom fly and the oh so cute little hummingbird. These "Little Things" dies are just priceless.

Singing Meadowlark

This is a card I created to enter into Joan's Challenge. You had to make a tent style card using aqua, purple and light green paper and something from nature. I choose to use Fabscraps paper with a meadowlark on. I used a Spelbinder frame to cut the meadowlark from the paper. Added a purple frame. I used a Spellbinder flourish with some Cheery Lynn leaves. Made a flower from a punch. Added a tag with some text and pearls on it. I embossed up both edges of the card with a cuttlebug edge embossing folder.

Blue and White Thank You Card

This is a card I created to enter into Joan's Garden Weekly Challenge. The challenge was to be blue and white, have a flower, a Thank You and use four corners. I use 4 Cheery Lynn corners arranged around the tear drop die of spellbinders. I then added a Cheery Lynn lace edge up the side of the card. I added some roses with some blue Cheery Lynn leaves behind them. I then added some white Cheery Lynn leaf flourishes. I added a Memory Box Butterfly and a Spellbinders Banner with silver Thank You sticker. Added a few pearls to the lace border and to the butterfly. Stamped a humming bird with vines to the center of the teardrop Spellbinder die. Put glossy accents over the hummingbird and vines to make them pop a bit.
