Ankara Designs

I am back this week with the "Dry Embossing" challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs. I cut a cream color paper and cut the Fancy Corner Cuts #1 on two corners. I then dry embossed it with the Black Eyed Susans. I placed chocolate paper behind the embossed paper. I place a chocolate strip up the side and layered the Ankara Lace Border along it. I cut the Ankara Lace Doily and place the angel wing in chocolate behind it. The sentiment Hello was placed in the center of the doily. Below the doily I placed the Mini Fanciful Flourish with some flowers from the Tiny Flower Kit. I hope you will join this weeks challenge  for your chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree @ http://cheerylynndesigns.blogspot.ca/search/label/challenge. Check out the other design team members creations as well @ http://cheerylynndesigns.blogspot.ca/. There is lots of inspiring designs to enjoy. Until next week happy crafting and Happy Mothers Day.

I am new to blogging and mixed media but saw your post about dry embossing, I was intrigued. What exactly is it? I think your design has a nice flow to it. Thank you for sharing!~
