Hi Cheery Lynn Fans. This week I had fun playing with some of the new Christmas dies and foil paper. The theme this week for the Cheery Lynn Challenge is
Silver and/or Gold. I had picked out some 12x12 Christmas paper with gold designs on it about a month ago just for this challenge. I Started with Horizon Coved Rectangle Stacker Frame and layered the Horizon Coved Classic Lg on top. I embossed a Christmas verse in gold and placed the Holly Lace Flourish and Holly Corner to the sides. The Poinsettia Strip made the most beautiful poinsettia's cut out of foil paper. I tucked the Ornament Christmas Tree behind the frame a bit. I cut the tree out in red and also in green foil and then cut the red and green ornaments off and added them to the black tree. The Santa's Sleigh and Reindeer I cut three times , once in black, gold and red foil. I then cut them apart making the sleigh and reins gold, the reindeer black and their collars red. The Winter Neighborhood Border I cut apart and placed along the bottom on each side and used a gold pen to color the edges . The gold reindeer looked so nice that I popped one up in front of the house. The Birds of the Earth and Sky were so cute I had to add some along the bottom too. I hope I have inspired you and that you will join the challenge for a chance to win a $20.00 gift certificate. The design team came up with some stunning creations last week using the new dies. How beautifully the foil shows off the dies! Your Poinsettias are beautiful on that dramatic gold and black card. The Christmas tree really shines with the foil ornaments. And I love the way you dressed up the Santa's Reindeer!
You've given us lots of ideas for Christmas cards with this collection of foil die cuts!
